Saw an episode of Miami last night (can never be sure which series - as diff. ones diff. days - as well as NCIS - I sorta go by the existence and colour of Grissom's beard ). They got a prisoner's profile up on their all-seeing computer after zooming in on on the bar code on his wristband AND enhancing the tiny (would have been well greeked) name text above the bar code. This was from CCTV of their visiting time.

In same episode, having got up a guy's DNA code the program then morphed the bars of the code into a picture of the guy - for Godssakes!
