I certainly wish them luck. Maybe dynamic language features in NET will make their develpment easier as well.

I don't think even that 100% compatibility is 100% necessary. I would settle for reasonable conversion effort + stable app performance. Perhaps wisely reduced scope would help them save some resources and concentrate on really crucial things.
I could not care less about SilverLight implementation, for as long as datahandling part is working ok.

As for skepicisam expressed by some here, they already achieved lot of what was considered (or claimed) impossible
so why not believe thet they can carry out the rest.
