I am trying to run the sample application that comes with MM.Net.

I get the error:

"An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)"

I have been into SQL Server Connection Manager and under Client Protocols I have Enabled Named Pipes and TCP/IP, but still get this issue.

I am new to SQL Server, so not sure where else to check, any advice?

Gary.
