OK, that bit is clearly a case of RTFM! it's in the MM.Net Developers Guide!!
Anyway, I have changed the connection from (local) to my server name and it is now making connection, however I get the error;
"Login failed for user 'gwilliams'. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection."
My SQL Server is set to Windows Authentication and I am using my username/password and I am a local administrator.
as this is my first contact with SQL Server, any ideas what to check? and where I can learn more on SQL Server config?
