I still don't understand why everyone is recommending specific DBMSs to you or why you are listening to them, given that you have a commercial application with a variety of clients. You could easily wind up limiting your market by taking yourself out of the running with companies who are committed to a different DBMS. The beauty of it is that .NET makes it pretty easy to be data-agnostic using a data factory pattern as mentioned in my earlier message.
