I do not know of any particular materials that you could read, but if you buy a starter type book from a local bookstore on the subject, that would be a good start. I always stay away from the Microsoft titles. I have found that Wrox and Que are pretty good publishers on subjects like these.
You certainly have your hands full if you're jumping in to both SQL Server and .NET.
