>>>I ran a utility to clean-up temporary files, etc and now sites like CNN and FARK are text-based. There are some images, but all the formatting is removed. I've rebooted, but they are still the same. Anyone know why and what I need to do to get them back they way they were? Other sites seem fine. I've used this utility before and have not had this problem before.

In that case, I hesitate to recommend Internet Explorer, which I consider less secure. Other browsers include Opera and Chrome.

Other options to solve browser problems - staying within a specific browser - would be to clear the cache; install a new version; or just reinstall. Clearing the cache often works, and requires much less effort. In the case of FireFox this is found under a menu command with a name similar to "Tools | Delete private data".
