No, no, you don't fool me so easily. When I upgrade, I want the real thing, the 2400 baud version. Of course a 9600 baud is on my wish list, but why should I ever need that high speed? I am used to making a cup of coffee after each message I send, I won't get the time to make my coffee with that speed demon.
>Tore, you're a good guy so I will offer you an excellent price on a 1200 baud. Interested?

>Actually I
did start out online with a Hayes 300 baud. You could watch the screen paint itself -- and that was in the days of text only! LOL
>
>>Do you mean to hint that the faithful Hayes 300 baud modem I use right now is outdated?

>>>It's not just a readability issue on removing extra messages. It has to do also with data transfer. Believe it or not, there are still people today using dial up and being charged per byte transfer.
