>>Sorry, now I don't understand you. I just meant that you can find practically everything in google once you figured out the good search criteria. I succeed in my searches in 90%, though sometimes I have to go through lots of links to find a real answer.

What I do everytime I have a question, which is also what I recommend to others, is to first start by posting here. That is what I do. Then, I use this site search engine. If I cannot find it, I might have time to search elsewhere on the net. During all that time, if someone knows the answer right away, I might get a reply here. And, if I find it myself, I will do a follow up on my own messages. This is the recommended way. That is what I suggest to people using this site and for those who believe in it. If I would jump elsewhere at first to search for an answer, I wouldn't know what I would have built this site for.

Michel,

I was not suggesting to not post here the questions, you got this wrong. In fact, that's how I usually approach the problem too - often I post first and then search. But when I see the interesting question and I don't know the answer right away, I search myself (in google or here first - depends on the question). In 90% I'm able to find the answer I'm looking for though in some cases it takes many iterations and many searches (here and in google and in other known resources).

BTW, I wanted to find a thread today (answer to Mike Cole question) and I tried several searches here and could not find the thread.

Google would not know everything if this site and other sites/blogs/forums would not exist :) How would it know the answer otherwise? :)
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
