Speaking of word games, I was reading an article in The New Yorker last night about Scrabble. I am not a Scrabble nut, have not played it in a long time, but the article was so well written I read it all the way to the end. One little part made me laugh out loud. It mentioned a Simpsons episode in which Homer drew "oxidize" and played "do" (LOL).
Apparently online Scrabble (called by various names) is huge. There are loads of players, some of whom play it obsessively like junkies.
