Yes you can. In fact, I would recommend not to overwrite the 3.0 if you don't want to
remove it, but to install 5.0 into a different location. The problem will come when you
decide to remove 3.0 using W95 remover/installer. Watch out for those system
files in your WIN\/WIN\SYSTEM directories. Also, you might experience a
mysterious disappearance of toolbars in 3.0 after you install 5.0 Don't panic,
just re-run 3.0 again, it'll find the toolbars after all. Don't know what and how it
happens, but WHO CARES!!!!! I also didn't try to perform a full deplyment in 3.0
after I installed 5.0, so to avoid a major headache I still suggest you keep 1 clean
installation of 3.0 on a separate machine, in case you need to do a deployment
for this version only.
