I see your question has already been answered. Just wanted to add that if this is VFP and not FoxPro 2.x, you should not be using ON KEY LABEL at all. Use the KeyPress event instead. OKL preemptively interrupts whatever code is running and can wreak all kinds of hard-to-diagnose havoc.
