Are you thinking of the Lousianna governor perhaps? He's not the Republican hope. Every presidential address the opposite party provides one elected official to issue a 'rebuttal' to the media. It's always been that way. He's not a republican hope or anything of the kind, just the poor sod chosen to speak publicly and provide a rebut to Obama. Next time it will be someone else. Anyone following the great orator would look the fool... :o)
