Add a splash screen to you app and show it as soon as possible. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/190350.
You can also use -B command-line option to display a bitmap. It'll show up faster than splash screen.

>I would like to use WSH to flash a message in a window with something like "System Loading... Please Wait" between Double Clicking the Desktop shortcut that leads to my Exe and the appearance of the Main Screen. This is because sometimes there is a lapse of time that leads to the user to Re-Double-Click and Re-Double-Click thinking that nothing is happenning when it is actually happenning but slowly. The Flash window can be stopped in the Activate and if possible let it have no buttons apart from the message.
