>Hi to all ...

>From night to day, one of the PC's we have here started to report an error message in a window, that says 'Findfast' has performed an illegal operation and will be closed. When I press the 'Details' button it says something about 'Kernel32.dll' blahblahblah ... When we close that window, the PC seems to work ok, but I don't know why does this error message appear ...

FindFast is an applet from MS Office; you could simply remove it with no real problems. It can be disabled (at least with Office 97 SR2) from the Control Panel (Control Panel/Find Fast - the Index menu choice lets you set intervals, disable it, etc.)
