No its not a virus issue. We figured out the reason the processes don't have PID numbers (and no other info) in the Task Manager is because they are 16-bit programs running in a DOS emulator. See previuos replies for additional info on this subject. Once this was figured out, it was just a matter of deteriming the PID number of the DOS emulator and I can KILL it normally which shuts down the two programs. The only negative side issue is that killing the emulator will also kill any other 16-bit apps running on the computer. But, since I think this is the only one ... I should be O.K. with killing the virtual dos emulator.
