I have just found out GDIPlus.dll isn't one of these files that can be 'specific' to a version of windows.
If you look in the registry applications (most ms ones) appear to update the values to point to the latest one (office11)
The simple answer is Yes, it actually makes sense to deploy the latest one.
I would like to know if anyone has a different view to that.
