Trisha ---

The approach I take, on installing an app on a PC where the data is already resident on a server, is to create setup disks containing *nothing* but the EXE and Fox runtime. To do otherwise creates a risk or overwriting production data. Call this "workstation install" setup disks. Now, this assumes that you have some logic in your program that can find the data in a given directory.

BTW: The only reason I have the EXE in "workstation install" is to give the setup wizard something to mull over and work with. Can't create runtime only setup disks AFAIK.

I tried using Wizard setup, but I receive error messages because the program cannot find the tables (pointing to the wrong path). I set the default path prior to opening my files, but it always looks at the path specified during setup, which is a local path. What am I doing wrong?
