>Cable TV has become almost unwatchable to me.

I've removed the "almost".

>- More and more Paid Programming. Who's paying for this mindless crap? Oh, right, me

And whoever paid for it first. It's paid twice.

>- 8 to 12 hour marathon of some show. I have been seeing more and more of this too.

But it's all re-runs, doing miracles for their balance sheet. So much cheaper than fresh stuff. Fresh stuff is not just expensive, it is also risky - what if you don't like it? The good old, you liked it last year, you'll like it even more the ninth time.

>- The same movie over and over again. Sometime one right after another. One of the stations I had in my paid package played the Abyss every day at the same time for over 6 months. For god sakes, who's wants to watch the same movie every day.

Same as above.

>- Showing the sequel to movies and never the original.

It wasn't that original anyway.

>- Religious shows are become more prominent also.

That's advertising and/or paid too.

>- Reality shows are popping up more too.

Really? I never managed to sit through more than two minutes of any of them in the last five years. Tried the Fear factor before that, stopped watching it after 2.5 shows.

>- Wrestling. Everywhere. Now on the SciFi channel. What does wrestling have to do with SciFi?

It's fake, 's why. All the fighting is just fictional, and they have to apply a lot of science to make it look plausible. So, where else but on SciFi?

>D@mn it feels good to get that off my chest.

>Well, back to mindless TV watching. Whats on, Burn Notice marathon.

Make sure to report who won the medal there.
