Just so you know...a container will work differently than a toolbar. With a toolbar, the controls never get focus, but they do on a container, so if the user is on a particular field, then they click a button on the container bar, the original control won't maintain focus.

Each form know the object reference to the CommonToolbar, and sets some properties on the tool when the form gets focus.
