One program called Extract_Notes has a call to DBFToExcelWithMemo which is in Common_Utility (at the top). All the classes I used in my code are also in the Common_Utility. Try to set a procedure to it and slightly change the select statement to grab your data (with memo field). Try to test on big resultsets (1000+ records).

In the meantime I'm going to download VFPOleDB from the link Dmitry is sending me.
