>It seem like, Technology is nowadays, made by ambitious salesmen and fashion designers. Every new technology preview looks like those fashion parades where there is plenty of shiny and extravagant clothes made for those skinny manekens, that you never get to meet in real life. Clothes are not made to protect you from cold, last long and be affordable, but to be sleek, stylish, and look good next to shrimp buffet {g}

I thought, for a fleeting moment (and they all fleet so often, don't they?) that you said "and look good on a shrimp"... i.e. you have to be a bit slimmer than a rake to wear it.

>Overwelmed with fashion designers and all those rich and famous people, meny overweight bimboes walk out with with pair knickers on top if their head, thinking it is very cool hat, but what to do. Looking good is a must, and there is fashion police everywhere!

Screw that driver... just like I have resisted the addiction to shaving (which is among the worst: one sample and you're caught in a vicious circle, about 3.4 catch-22s in strength), I have resisted the fashion, by declaring myself out-of-fashion a couple of decades ago. And guess what, I'm happy with that. Which also includes software lately. My desktop is becoming a collection of abandonware which works. "We don't need no recent version..." (sung like the Buldožder version of Floyd's Brick/wall, i.e. in "oj svijetla majska zoro", the one Montenegrin song there is... :).
