While Stage6.com was on, I sat through about five minutes of an episode of SG-1 in German. Not that I didn't understand anything - there isn't much to understand anyway, if you're familiar with the context, but what got me were things which weren't translated. "Da ist eine missile durch dem stargate gekommen, herr major" or something of the kind - the words in italics were in English. C'mon, a once-upon-a-time militaristic culture incapable of translating ammo and rank? Blyecchs. If I watch it in German, I want to hear German, not Germisch.
