That's probably the cultural difference. I wasn't in any military something, I was in the army. And we probably weren't expecting to meet a foreign uniform ever, so we learned none of that. Maybe the officers learned a few, I was just a society-owned... or no, a private. Do the lowest ranks translate as well? :)
