You can understand radio commentators going 90 to the dozen. But for TV, if every picture is worth a 1000 words, then a moving picture must be worth 1000 **2.
There's talk that the expression "Back to square one" refers back to the days when radio listeners followed the match with a pitch matrix to identify where the ball is now. For a kick off we went "Back to square one". I dunno.
