Anyone done and GDIPlusX (or GDIPlus) work on a citrix network?

I have some new development within an existing application that I have written. It works and performs fine on a number of machine and network configurations. However we have just deployed it to a Citrix network and the performance is dead slow.

For example a quick screen image of small form (450x550) takes a second or so on my machine and a maximum of about 3-4 seconds on even the slowest machine/network test I do. On the Citrix network it's between 20 and 30 seconds IE not acceptable. I have isolated the code and I know it is the GDIPlus call that is the cause and the rest of the application runs ok.

Within the Citrix network in question we have access to 2 servers (real not virtual) and both are performing the same. What I don't know if this is a "Citrix" issue or just a problem with this specific network.

Anyone have any insight or experience?
