OK , call me stupid but can anyone explain this.

I was asked to find the number of records in a table with a particular status. I did a count

COUNT TO x FOR elecstat = "M"

The result = 64085

So, they wanted to look at them in a separate table so I issued the following command:

COPY TO c:\temp\movedele FOR elecstat = "M"

I was surprised to see there were only 63879 records copied.

HUH?

There are 9 records marked for deletion, there is only the one table opened, deleted is set off.

What am I missing?
