Well, you can have them both open ... it's just that you really can't use PEM Editor when the debugger is open. (teensy, teensy joke here)

What would you think if activating PEM Editor made your debugger disappear -- only to reappear when you left PEM Editor? (I don't usually work that way, but my guess is that it would be most annoying -- but not as annoying as having PEM Editor take forever ........)
