The highest earners have always paid the largest portion of the tax bill. But what Obama is trying to do is taking it off the charts. I don't know about you, Mike, but no poor person has ever hired me to write custom software.

I don't remember exactly how Jake put it yesterday but he basically said for the system to be strong, the weak have to be allowed to fail.

People who are irresponsible enough to acquire things that they can never afford to pay for deserve to have those things taken away from them. Why is it my responsibility to pay for their mistakes? I have always lived in a fiscally responsible manner, even when I was a starvinf college student working my way through school. Not everyone deserves to own their own home. Only people who can afford the mortgage payments deserve to own their own home.

Sounds to me like you are envious of other people's economic success. You should concentrate on your own efforts to succeed and stop dcounting other people's money.
