Perhaps that's how it got it's nickname ... the other schools would give Grimsley students Whirlies cause they're such nerds.


>Grimsley High with it's strange team name does very well in academic ratings and is rated 84th in the country. Considering it uses IB tests and not just AP tests, I think that is outstanding. You'd think they could've come up with a better name than the Whirlies! :o) It's an IB World school.
