I know how to do this in Outlook.

I hoped for something like:

oShell = NEWOBJECT("_shellexecute", HOME(0)+"FFC\_environ.vcx")
oShell.shellexecute('mailto:?subject=&attachment="c:\test.txt"')

This brings up the default email client.
But the &attachment= part does not work.

There must be a way.
OpenOffice Writer and other applications manages to do this with Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail, Outlook and probably a lot of other email clients.

May be I will have to study source code for Writer. I had hoped not.
