>>I'm surprised by the method of reporting offenses - anything in the same 24 hrs as one? How did they get away with that? If they were reported accurately (each event counts as 1 ), then what is the real crime rate of Memphis? It's high now, but didn't it just shoot into the stars?

>Democrats controlled both houses of congress in TN for over 100 years is how we got into this mess. Now, people are starting to wake up, since I put this data in front of them. Even the county mayor, who was previously the Public Defender, is on board with tougher sentencing, or so he says.

>Our real crime numbers are actually reported to the FBI for UCR reporting, because those numbers come from our RMS, not the courts. We are driving the crime out of Memphis through aggressive policing, using a data driven approach, CyberWatch; and soon our License Plate Reader system, which I am writing will be looked upon by the criminals as the "death star:" Year to date, we are down almost 10%. Burglaries were averaging over 50 per day last summer and now average just over 30. Stay tuned to a relocating criminal, coming to YOUR town!

You already sent Derrick Rose back to us <g>. I don't think he will be turning up on a criminal database any time soon. He is part of the antidote in the NBA's resurgence.

I see Memphis U is still beating up on weaksters in what is left of Conference USA. We'll see how they do against the teams from the big conferences. Actually I think they will do OK. They teach and play seriously aggressive defense. I like that.
