Our RTCC is better than NYCs because they don't take a report on everything, and they are still using paper reporting for everything except homicides. Our reports are taken on a pda/notebook in the field and pushed upstream, so I get the reports within minutes of the report being entered. We update our crime ticker with that data every 10 minutes, so the public can see what's happening.

Not really. You can't control every facet of society, so that could happen. We call it "collateral damage". We will control what we can, and deal with the rest, as it occurs. I don't know what else we could do.
