There's a difference between toasting sometimes and toasting all the time. With our bread, you have the choice; with this industrial bread, you must toast it or exercise frustration if you try to spread anything on it.
Anyway, I have learned what I wanted to know, so as far as I'm concerned, we can put this issue to rest.
