>First time listener and first time caller... Found this site in a Google search and it seemed to have a lot of traffic, so here I am. Is it a good one for NET?

I've have been the sole developer for a number of years - I own the code - and now want to start learning and moving it to C# (I think). I'm in a position to take the time to learn NET and improve the application, so I'm looking for resources to help me get started. I know nothing about it, other than what I've read online.

Hi Lynda,
Welcome to UT (that's how we call this site for short).
This is a good site for making transition from VFP to .NET and there are many knowledgable people here, so you can ask any questions you want.
You need to pick up a language (either C# or VB.NET).
If you want to create a web based application in ASP.NET I would also recommend you to use ASP.NET/Forums
http://forums.asp.net and look at the videos at this site - they are very helpful and have different levels of complexity.
You can also pick up some books.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
