I've have been the sole developer for a number of years - I own the code - and now want to start learning and moving it to C# (I think). I'm in a position to take the time to learn NET and improve the application, so I'm looking for resources to help me get started. I know nothing about it, other than what I've read online.

Hi,
Since you're coming from a VFP background this should prove useful:
http://www.foxcentral.net/microsoft/NETforVFPDevelopers.htm

But bear in mind that both the Framework and C# have expanded somewhat since this was written so in some cases there are now better/different options available that aren't covered.

Lots of good introductory videos here:http://www.learnvisualstudio.net/

Also you might want to compare Winforms v WPF as a desktop platform (I'm a WPF fan but Winforms will be closer VFP)
Some WPF videos here : http://windowsclient.net/learn/videos_wpf.aspx

HTH,
Viv
