>First time listener and first time caller... Found this site in a Google search and it seemed to have a lot of traffic, so here I am. Is it a good one for NET?

I've have been the sole developer for a number of years - I own the code - and now want to start learning and moving it to C# (I think). I'm in a position to take the time to learn NET and improve the application, so I'm looking for resources to help me get started. I know nothing about it, other than what I've read online.

Welcome. Like Viv I highly suggest www.learnvisualstudio.net and likely you too would be a fan of WPF soon. I am also a fan of Linq and trying to show Linq in a simplified way and from the eyes of a VFP developer in my blog. It doesn't assume a totally new beginner but sooner or later should help you too (especially when you start data access in .Net - ADO.Net is not an easy thing to work with for VFP developers, Linq is better for anyone IMHO).
