John,

>Just like in the old days where we had that API that could tell you if the floppy was in drive A I need to do the same with USB Thumb Drives. Thumb Drives are the best and quickest way to back up data in small shops. No tapes or drives to go bad, get dirty, etc. However, it seems that every thumb drive made comes up as a different drive letter. I have even seen two drives of the same brand and model purchase at the same time come up as different drive letters. Does anyone know of a way to tell what drive the blasted thing is coming up as or if it has been plugged in?
