No. You're wrong. Clipper doesn't have all tables opened all the time. At least at my systems. I open, I close, I open again in the same procedure or program. I learned many years ago that having a lot of files open at the same time brought troubles.

I wanted to do the same in Visual Fox (never old Fox) and datasession apparently doesn't affect it.

In the example I explained I open the second form datasession=1 cause I programmed a class form than close all the files if the datasession is 2.

At this time of the day I apparently solved the problem. I hate when I don't know how but I fixed it.
