Peter could you shed some light on this, please? Why was there anything suspicious about the original LL message? What are some of us missing that Dimitry and presumably you picked up on? Why should Naomi have been suspicious right from the start?

No coyness, innuendo or hints, please. What is so obvious to some that the rest of us are missing?

>>Michel, if I understand your post correctly then it seems that some element *still* is trying to sabotage the peaceful running of VFP forums. How tiresome. All we can do is keep giving newcomers the benefit of the doubt while watching for unlikely behaviors such as public posts that logically would be private.

Are you boys and girls ALL actors in this soap or new series of Monty Python's Flying Circus? Perhaps you have planned this all out in PM's? Or are you all sincerely disconcerned about what Dmitry said? IMO, he was the ONLY person who said the right thing.

>The first one who reacted was Naomi. She should have been suspicious right from the start, don't you all think?!!

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
