Here's the original post's content:

First time listener and first time caller... Found this site in a Google search and it seemed to have a lot of traffic, so here I am. Is it a good one for NET?

We have an existing Foxpro application - VFP9 - and want to convert it over to NET. I've have been the sole developer for a number of years - I own the code - and now want to start learning and moving it to C# (I think). I'm in a position to take the time to learn NET and improve the application, so I'm looking for resources to help me get started. I know nothing about it, other than what I've read online.

Lynda

What were the hints?
1) The lady is the sole developer - for a number of years! and even owning it! - of a VFP9 application and she only now finds out about the existence of the UT? Not years ago?
2) Indeed, look at the picture. We can acknowledge that there are indeed beautiful ladies in our community. But whom of them publishes a picture exposing herself the way this Lynda did? (I wish they did, but they don't. I guess because they are aware that some (allmost all, not me off course) men here have dirty minds.)

But I'm not blaming Naomi. She's naive at times. That's what I like about her most. Don't you?

>not my asusmption at all but as you coyly suggest i google the name and the only hit is a newscaster in North Carolina and the only recently banned member from there is Jay and you say Naomi ( who had less than cordial relations with him ) should somehow have guessed it ...
>
>So what you are saying is you really don't know what you're talking about? It was a very simple question, specifically asking you avoid hint, innuendo or coyness and you choose to answer "google it".
>
>This place really *is* a freak show.
>
>
>>>>I'd say, google the name.
>>>
>>>Okay, I googled the name and there is a former news person in North Carolina with that name. Picture doesn't look to me like the one posted, but I assume this means you think Jay is pretending to be Lynda?
>>>
>>>Oh well, better picture than his old one and seemingly better manners ...
>>
>>Jay?! YES, that must be the case. :)
>>He's been completely uninvolved in the threads! Perhaps he has a double life and LL is his alterego. How sweet. :)
>>
>>>>
>>>>>Peter could you shed some light on this, please? Why was there anything suspicious about the original LL message? What are some of us missing that Dimitry and presumably you picked up on? Why should Naomi have been suspicious right from the start?
>>>>>
>>>>>No coyness, innuendo or hints, please. What is so obvious to some that the rest of us are missing?
>>>>>
>>>>>>>Michel, if I understand your post correctly then it seems that some element *still* is trying to sabotage the peaceful running of VFP forums. How tiresome. All we can do is keep giving newcomers the benefit of the doubt while watching for unlikely behaviors such as public posts that logically would be private.
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>FWIW there is a company with similar name at the address specified in that membership. If there is any benefit, perhaps a call to that company would confirm whether the member exists and was posting legitimately?
>>>>>>
>>>>>>Being here currently because of a technical question (#1388460), my attention was drawn to these Lynda Loveland threads. Are you boys and girls ALL actors in this soap or new series of Monty Python's Flying Circus? Perhaps you have planned this all out in PM's? Or are you all sincerely disconcerned about what Dmitry said? IMO, he was the ONLY person who said the right thing.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>The first one who reacted was Naomi. She should have been suspicious right from the start, don't you all think?!!
