I don't see a reason why it would not work.
I just opened a container with objects class from a .VCX, selected one textbox, copied, and pasted into a form no problem.
If I open a container with objects class that is based on another container with objects class then this does not work with error message "Cannot copy objects because some are members of a parent class."
