There were many propaganda cartoons back in the 40s and 50s. Disney had an agreement with the government to produce anti-nazi, anti-Japanese, and pro-bomb cartoons and they did. When income taxes started in the mid 40s there were pro-income tax cartoons. The ones in later years were much milder and I'm not sure they could really fall into the propaganda department. Where on earth was your daughter that she was viewing those old propaganda cartoons?
