At article on cnn.com says even a minor fall in which the victim seems fine at first can quickly turn catastrophic if a blood vessel ruptures inside the skull. The blood has nowhere to go and basically kills the brain. It says if any of the symptoms are observed it is critically important to get them to a hospital ASAP.
