There are a few that I can't think of at the mo' but I've often wondered why Ammunition boots are so named. Is it because you can always remove them and chuck them at the enemy when you run out of bullets?
And forage caps? You wear them to go hunting for berries?
Fatigues? Only wear them when you're tired?
