After looking at the grotesque and bloated code that MS Word spits out when saving even a simple document in HTML I am now looking for another editor to do the job.

Here is the objective:
We have a VFP program that allows the user to enter text in edit boxes. That text is then uploaded to a LAMP server, saved into MySQL and displayed in web pages. All works very nicely with the user having to do nothing more than hit the upload button. However, we would like to allow the user to get a bit fancy with the text.

I don't think I can do WISIWYG in a VFP edit box. I would have no problem in calling another editor with run /n to launch that editor (with the desired doc name) and having it then save the user text in HTML. The problem is the editor would have to be extremely easy to use, not the standard HTML editor with a hundred controls. My users only know how to type and press the save button. Anything more complex and my phone starts ringing. I just need to set color, font name and size and insert a URL.
