So scam baiters won't pick up on snail mail scams?
Or is this a joke?

Never mind. the purpose of the thread was to marvel at this retrograde step and wonder how it hopes to succeed.

>You're not likely to write back (costing you a stamp) so the scammer is taking an anti scam baiting precaution.

>>Yes, these things exist but that's nothing to do with what I received. I got the typical "pitch" letter to me (although this is in good, grammatically correct English, well punctuated AND not all in upper case). The only other difference was that it wasn't by FREE email, where you can mailshot a million prospective "marks" for zilch, but posted to my name and address.

>>>>>>Beware everyone. Last week I received a scam about a man having a load of money tied up in a bank, after his father was murdered, and asking me if I want to help him get it out. This seemed to be the son of a white farmer who'd been dsipossessed of his land, in Zimbabwe.
