This product - http://www.netlib.com/file-encryption.asp - will allow you to add strong encryption to your existing tables and files without any programming changes to speak of. It is not cheap but will give you an out-of-the-box solution without major programming overhead.

However, this still leaves your code open to attack and hence you also need to protect that with products like Refox, Armadillo, or Thinstall.
