From the couple of friends I have who were addicts once upon a time I heard that ibogaine treatment is far more efficient, it supposedly cleans the receptors of the "this is nice, I want more" effect of other narcotics. At least the friend who told me that sounded much more at home in her head than a couple of decades ago, when we previously spoke. And she stayed consistently so over the months since we have reestablished contact, so I guess we can say it works. Reading further, however, I found out that ibogaine is illegal here. Conundrum, eh?
