SharpDevelop has been accepted to the Google Summer of Code 2009. In
summary, it is a Google sponsored program that allows students to work
on open-source projects over the summer and get paid for it (4500 USD
goes to the student and 500 USD to the mentor).

There are several suggestions for projects on the wiki page, but you are
free to work on anything you like.


So if you would like to earn some money over the summer working on
SharpDevelop, please get it thouch. If you have some friends that might
be interested, please let them know as well.
